Job Description

The Opportunity

The Site Advisor serves as a key representative of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Worldwide Campus and is responsible for supporting the academic and operational needs of an assigned site location. This position provides comprehensive academic advising and student support while also contributing to site operations, community engagement, compliance, facility coordination, and University initiatives.

The Site Advisor counsels students regarding degree requirements, academic policies and procedures, course planning, registration, financial aid and tuition assistance options, and progression toward degree completion. The position proactively engages with students throughout their academic journey, including students who may be experiencing academic challenges or are at risk of attrition, and develops individualized student success plans when appropriate.

In addition to academic advising, the Site Advisor supports the effective operation of the assigned site by coordinating with university departments, faculty, community partners, government and military representatives, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities may include supporting on-site course enrollment and outreach initiatives, graduation activities, facility needs, scheduling, technology requirements, emergency preparedness, inventory, compliance activities, and budget and expense management.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong judgment, communication, organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills and will serve as a positive representative of Embry-Riddle while promoting excellence in student services and community engagement.
