Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Communications in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will create a welcoming, professional first impression while supporting access control, visitor management, and response to security-related concerns. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate clearly with tenants and guests, and help maintain an orderly environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, and directing guests according to building procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building entry records to help support a controlled commercial real estate environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Receive and route calls, deliveries, and visitor inquiries while maintaining accurate logs and supporting daily front-desk operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
