Position Summary
The Engineering Department is responsible for design engineering, drafting & modeling, production engineering, and project management. Ideal candidates possess a degree of business awareness with a passion for engineering discipline. We offer a working environment that allows a hands-on engineering professional to develop and grow as they execute on projects in a fast pasted and ever-changing environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- This position requires the ability to understand the technical requirements of our customers and to implement engineering solutions to meet these demands.
- Reviews and executes product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements.
- Ability to reverse engineer legacy technology as well as comparable industry products to evaluate issues to consider design enhancements that expand our product portfolio.
- Coordination of first of a kind design and qualification activities for new product initiatives
- Development of new designs complementary to company’s existing product lines.
Educational & experience Requirements:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
EXPERIENCE: 3-10+ years of design or related industry experience
