As a Armed Security Officer - Bank Branch in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
- Maintain an armed, professional presence in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas; verify credentials and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Possess a Corrections Officer License.
- Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
- An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
