Commercial Lines Producer
Job Summary
Seeking dynamic and driven individuals to join a team as Commercial Lines Producers. As a Commercial Lines Producer, you will focus on prospecting new business, building client relationships, and driving sales in middle-market accounts (500+ lives). Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $65,000–$75,000 (Year 1; declines over 3 years to commission-only).
- Commission: 40% on new business, 30% on renewals.
- Equity Opportunity: Begin earning equity once your book of business reaches $250,000.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and secure new business opportunities.
- Develop expertise in a chosen vertical ("major") and secondary focus area ("minor").
- Attend sales training in Tennessee to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Conduct client meetings and build strong, lasting relationships.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve sales goals.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Risk Management or Business/Sales majors are a plus.
- Experience:
- 3–4 years of B2B sales experience (outside of insurance is acceptable).
- OR 2–3 years of experience as a Producer Assistant or in an insurance-related role.
- Recent graduates with Risk Management degrees will also be considered.
- Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong prospecting and client relationship-building skills.
- Ability to hold effective client meetings.
- Hunger for success and a results-driven mindset.
