Employee Benefits Producer
Job Summary
Seeking a driven, dedicated, and client-focused Employee Benefits Producer to join a team. This role involves serving as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through employee benefits options and identifying comprehensive solutions tailored to their organization’s needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of employee benefits, excellent sales capabilities, and a passion for fostering meaningful relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to assess and address their employee benefits needs.
- Design, recommend, and implement customized employee benefit solutions, including healthcare plans, retirement strategies, and wellness programs.
- Monitor market trends and regulations impacting employee benefits to provide clients with accurate and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, account management, and carriers, to ensure successful client outcomes.
- Lead new business initiatives, conducting assessments, delivering presentations, and preparing proposals to attract and retain clients.
- Provide consultative support during benefits renewal processes to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Stay current with compliance matters, including ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, and other relevant laws.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Employee Benefits Producer or in a similar consultative sales role, including expertise in group benefits, health insurance plans, and ancillary products.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Results-oriented mindset with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual communication tools.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual with strong time management skills.
- Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
