Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients, cultivating strong relationships to build and maintain a loyal client base.
• Conduct in-depth needs analysis to identify client challenges and design tailored employee benefits solutions that meet organizational goals.
• Provide clear guidance and education to clients on insurance policies, employee benefits packages, compliance requirements, and policy options.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, underwriting, and account management, to ensure that client expectations are exceeded.
• Regularly review and adjust benefits programs to align with changing laws, market conditions, and client needs.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory updates, and market innovations related to employee benefits and insurance solutions.
• Achieve individual sales objectives and contribute to the growth of the organization by meeting or exceeding goals.
• Participate in community and networking events to enhance recognition of the company and generate leads.
• Maintain accurate and organized records using CRM and ensure compliance with company guidelines and legal standards.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensure: Must hold or be willing to obtain the necessary state insurance producer license(s) for employee benefits.
• Experience: Proven experience as an insurance or employee benefits producer, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of group health insurance, voluntary benefits, compliance regulations (like ACA, COBRA, etc.), and other associated employee benefit plans.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, engaging way for diverse audiences.
• Customer-Centric Approach: A passion for building long-term client relationships through transparency, trust-building, and proactive client service.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to customize benefit solutions and address client issues.
• Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize varied tasks and meet deadlines.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and various digital tools; familiarity with online benefits platforms is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
