About the Role
We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Business Partner to join our Asia Pacific People & Culture team. This highly visible role will lead the delivery and evolution of performance and reward programs across Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea. Partnering closely with senior leaders, HR teams and global stakeholders, you'll develop innovative reward strategies that attract, retain and motivate top talent while ensuring alignment with Cushman & Wakefield's global philosophy and regional business objectives.
This is the ideal opportunity for a commercially minded reward specialist who enjoys combining strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, analytics and project delivery to drive meaningful people outcomes. This is an individual contributor role and will suit and astute professional happy to work at a “strategic hands-on” level.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of compensation and benefits programs across Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea region
Partner with business leaders and HR teams to develop strategic reward solutions
Manage annual compensation and performance review cycles
Design and enhance compensation structures, salary frameworks and allowances
Review and optimise sales incentive and variable compensation programs
Conduct remuneration benchmarking, market analysis and salary surveys
Provide expert advice on reward strategy, executive remuneration and pay-for-performance frameworks
Drive employee understanding and engagement with reward programs
Lead end-to-end reward projects from design through implementation
Support M&A activity, strategic hiring initiatives and workforce planning through reward modelling and analysis
Develop reports, analytics and insights to support business decision-making
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and governance requirements across Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Sth Korea
About You
10+ years' experience in Compensation & Benefits, Reward, HR Consulting or related disciplines
Strong experience managing reward programs across Australia and New Zealand markets, and ideally Japan and Sth Korea
Expertise in compensation strategy, salary benchmarking and job architecture
Proven experience designing incentive and sales compensation plans
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align reward strategy to business objectives
Advanced stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior executives
Strong project management capability within complex matrix environments
Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel capability
Experience using Workday and HRIS platforms
Strong understanding of remuneration trends, market practices and regulatory requirements
Bachelor's degree required with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded
