Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a functional work team to deliver accurate and timely procurement activities like transactional purchasing, e-sourcing, data management, and reporting. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company and Procurement team instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by tracking of procurement activities within the team, while ensuring quality of delivery service at improved transactional cost.

This role is contributing to the area of Indirect Material & Services for Automation Business Area in Americas Region. Main stakeholders are Human Resources, HSE, Real Estate, Marketing & Communication, Finance, Security, Operations

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensuring Buyers minimize risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and company guidelines.

• Securing the accurate application of group guidelines to drive improvement in cost, quality, delivery, and working capital (payment terms, lead times, order quantities, and purchased material inventory).

• Executing the implementation, operation, maintenance, and performance of supply chain systems.

• Investigating problems, finds root causes, and recommending improvement to existing and planned procurement processes.

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

Qualifications for the role

• You are immersed in ERP SAP, MDG/CFIN, SAP SSS (Ariba Supplier, Sourcing and Contract Modules) as well as Ariba Buying and the engineering and automation market

• You have +2 years years of experience in E2E Procurement to Pay processes, familiar with digital tools and systems

• Possess an enhanced knowledge of ERP SAP, MDG, ARIBA SSS (Onboarding, Sourcing, Buying and Contract Modules), Digitalization, Power BI, Advanced excel.

• You are passionate about leadership, influence, cross collaboration, team work player, people development, customer focus and continuous improvement mindset.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Industrial Engineering, or related

• You are at ease communicating in English and Spanish, Portuguese will be a plus.
