This role involves planning, executing, and optimising procurement processes to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials and services while maximising cost-efficiency.

The Procurement Officer is accountable for assisting in the planning, development and management of procurement arrangements.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and financial objectives.

• Conduct thorough supplier research, evaluation, and selection to establish a reliable supply chain.

• Negotiate and manage contracts to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and conditions.

• Oversee the procurement lifecycle, from purchase order initiation to goods/service delivery.

• Foster strong relationships with suppliers to enhance performance and collaboration.

• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain quality standards.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to identify procurement opportunities.

• Manage inventory levels, predict material requirements, and optimise resource allocation.

• Coordinate logistics and delivery to minimise delays and disruptions.

• Prepare and analyse procurement reports to inform decision-making and identify cost-saving measures.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, budgetary guidelines, and procurement regulations.

• Provide procurement expertise to project teams and stakeholders.
