What you'll do...
Role summary:
Focus on SAP Security at Walmart, you will design, implement, and support secure access solutions across SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, Fiori, GRC, and cloud applications. The role involves creating and maintaining roles and authorizations, enforcing Segregation of Duties (SoD), troubleshooting security issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. You will automate security processes, support audits, optimize access management, and contribute to large-scale enterprise projects. Success requires strong SAP security expertise, problem-solving skills, knowledge of identity and access management, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable business solutions.

The ERP Platforms team builds, supports, and enhances enterprise resource planning systems that power core business operations such as finance, procurement, supply chain, human resources, and inventory management. The team develops scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using platforms like SAP S/4HANA and related cloud technologies. Responsibilities include system integration, automation, performance optimization, security, and ensuring high availability of critical business applications. Team members collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineers to deliver innovative solutions, improve operational efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives. The team's focus is on reliability, compliance, continuous improvement, and enabling business growth through modern ERP technologies.
What you will bring:
Strong technical expertise in securing SAP landscapes, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP BW/BI, SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), SAP HR, and SAP Fiori.
Strong knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control components, including Access Request Management (ARM), Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Business Role Management (BRM), and Emergency Access Management (EAM).
Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori ( Building Catalogs, Spaces, Pages, and Sections) troubleshooting and debugging.
Experience in AI and automation, with an interest in leveraging emerging technologies to improve SAP Security processes.
Hands-on experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, risk remediation, mitigating controls, and GRC ruleset maintenance.
Experience leading SAP Security activities for implementations, enhancements, rollouts, migrations, and technical upgrades.
Experience supporting internal and external audits, ensuring SAP systems remain secure, compliant, and audit ready.
Solid understanding of SAP business processes, SAP implementation methodologies, and the end-to-end project lifecycle.
Experience partnering with SAP implementation teams to drive security design, transitions, and successful project deployments.
Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex SAP Security and GRC Access Control issues.
Experience developing and maintaining SAP Security standards, templates, runbooks, operating procedures, checklists, and automation accelerators.
Strong customer focus with the ability to build trusted relationships across business and technology teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude, strong ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Experience Required:
Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 7 years of professional experience in SAP Security and SAP GRC.
Option 2: Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 5 years of professional experience in SAP Security and SAP GRC.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
