Commercial Lines Account Manager/Assistant
Job Summary
A well-established and stable insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager/Assistant to join a growing team in Montgomery, AL. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in account management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will work closely with our commercial lines team to manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, ranging from small businesses to large market clients.
Compensation Package
- Salary: Starting at $65,000+ (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Assist with quoting new and renewal business, maintaining a balance between both.
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless service to clients.
- Utilize EPIC software to manage client information and process transactions.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Support the team in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of solid account management experience in the insurance industry, preferably within an independent agency.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software or similar agency management systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
