Description
Manage the day-to-day support and operational delivery of assigned Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications (EPBCS, EPCM, FCCS, ARCS, and EDMCS), supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities and budgeting and forecasting cycles. The role leads a team responsible for application maintenance, user support, metadata and data-governance execution, assigned enhancements, and compliance with established controls and translates Financial Systems priorities into team goals and operational plans, coordinates execution with Finance, Accounting, and IT partners, and escalates material risks and decisions to leadership.

This position sits within our Atlanta based Global Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 4 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage operational support, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the assigned Oracle Fusion EPM Cloud applications (EPBCS, EPCM, FCCS, ARCS, and EDMCS) .
- Translate Financial Systems priorities and functional plans into team goals, work assignments, operational processes, and delivery schedules.
- Set priorities for the EPM team, assign work, monitor commitments, and ensure timely completion of application support, close-cycle, enhancement, and project activities.
- Supervise and develop EPM team members through coaching, performance feedback, training, and adherence to established team expectations.
- Partner with Finance & Accounting stakeholders to support external reporting, management reporting, budgeting and planning, line of business reporting, and allocations reporting.
- Maintain a working understanding of EPM application design, integrations, metadata, accounting structures, and end-to-end data flows.
- Oversee execution of established metadata, hierarchy, data-governance, security, and control processes within assigned EPM applications.
- Ensure required SDLC documentation is completed and maintained to company standards for assigned changes, enhancements, and projects including, but not limited to, creating user requirements, system impact assessments, test plans, test scripts, training plans, communications plans, end user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), RAID logs, status reports, data migration plans, etc.
- Evaluate operational issues, coordinate root-cause analysis, and implement or recommend solutions consistent with established architecture, policies, and control requirements.
- Coordinate with Accounting, Finance, Project Management, IT, and other Financial Systems teams in the initiation and planning phases of new projects by gathering project data and requirements and providing input on project activities and timing.
- Help identify and resolve project-related risks and issues. Escalate material business, control, resource, or architectural concerns to leadership. Participate in the evaluation of the project by giving input for post-project evaluations and lessons learned.
- Recommend improvements to EPM processes, procedures, controls, and service delivery based on operational experience and stakeholder needs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 6 years of relevant EPM, accounting, or finance technology experience, including demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and prioritize the work of a systems support team or project workstream.
- Bachelor’s or 4-year degree in Management & Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience supporting financial systems in a multi-entity, multi-brand, or comparably complex business environment preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES
- Experience delivering effective finance systems solutions, including process, technology, and organizational considerations.
- Capacity to translate a technical/system challenge into a business conversation that leads to an actionable solution.
- Ability to understand organizational complexities, manage conflict, and influence changes.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills, including proficiency in finance analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities and lead assigned project workstreams involving financial and accounting processes.
- Practical, adaptable problem-solver who can balance operational priorities, stakeholder needs, controls, and delivery commitments. Able to work in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic work environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt to differing audiences.
- Understanding of GAAP accounting and its application to business activities.
- Working knowledge of financial and accounting processes relevant to EPM, including close, planning, forecasting, allocations, reconciliations, and management reporting.
