Job Description
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will provide essential administrative support across our talent programs while partnering closely with internal teams, educational institutions, and facility leaders. You’ll be responsible for managing centralized communications, maintaining accurate candidate data in our Applicant Tracking System (Workday), and helping strengthen our presence within colleges and universities.
This position will be based at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario. Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates, hiring managers, and interview panel members across multiple business units.
Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Support recruiters with administrative activities across the full recruitment lifecycle.
Liaison with colleges and universities to support clinical placements.
Collaborate with HR business partners, legal, payroll, and finance teams.
Create and update profiles in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) – Workday.
Work with colleges and universities to enhance our Campus engagement.
Complete other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
1+ years of experience supporting talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, HR administration, or a related function.
Experience in retail, healthcare, hospitality, or other high-volume industries is an asset.
Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and job posting management.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
Collaborative team player, who can manage competing demands and needs of multiple stakeholders simultaneously, and contribute to a great candidate experience.
Action oriented and ability to deliver results.
