As a German Customer Service Travel Advisor, you will function as the frontline representative for international tourists, offering exceptional care via telephone, web chat, and email channels. Functioning in this role, you will handle new bookings, itinerary modifications, and cancellations while preemptively resolving challenges to secure smooth journey experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience: Grant stellar service through every engagement channel, exercising comprehensive ownership over all traveler queries.
- Issue Resolution: Listen attentively to traveler anxieties, manage disagreements smoothly, and present proactive, functional solutions.
- Account & Booking Management: Review and update customer record details while flawlessly coordinating flight and vacation arrangements.
- Clear Communication: Express complicated travel regulations and protocols in an accessible, straightforward style in both German and English.
- Operational Excellence: Uphold high productivity, exactness, and quick turnaround times while processing intricate requests and clerical duties.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Grade 12 / Matric equivalent.
- Language Proficiency: High-level written and spoken competence in German and English.
- Experience: A minimum of 12 months working within a global call center, OR background experience in airline reservations or a travel agency.
- Background Check: Absence of criminal history and a spotless credit evaluation.
- Skills: Excellent active listening, mediation skills, time organization, and an ability to work steadily under high pressure.
Working Hours & Location
- Work Arrangement: Fully on-site.
- Location: 19 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town.
- Schedule: 5 days weekly, 8 hours daily (40 total hours per week).
- Working Hours: Rotational shift patterns scheduled between 09:00 AM and 02:00 AM SAST.
- Shift Pattern: Monday – Sunday (Rotational duty).
Remuneration & Benefits
- Base Salary: R 20,000.00 per month.
- Night Shift Allowance: Payable for any operational hours occurring after 7:00 PM.
- Transport Subsidy: Subsidized single-trip transport service supplied (Company pays primary subsidy; employee contribution is R315).
- Medical Benefits Choice:
- Medical Aid: Provides health coverage for the individual employee only.
- Medical Insurance: Provides health coverage for the employee plus up to 2 dependents.
