Team/Role Overview
The Real Estate Management Senior Manager will play a fundamental role is managing lease transactions across Europe. You will form part of the Real Estate Services team, managing office premises spread across 24 countries in Europe region totaling 1.5 million square feet.
What you’ll do
Manage all real estate transactions and lease events within Citi’s occupational portfolio across Europe including execution of strategies to extract and maximize value.
Support the renewal, acquisition, disposition and restructuring of all Citi Corporate Real Estate interests.
Ensure adherence and compliance to Citibank’s Real Estate Policies and Procedures and to report and mitigate any risk.
Proactively monitor critical lease events, working with internal and external teams to ensure timely completion of transactions.
Manage the engagement and supervision of real estate brokers and other transaction related professionals.
Liaise with country managers, space and occupancy teams and local business representatives to understand and assist in defining business objectives and occupancy requirements.
Work with the business evaluation teams in the preparation of cash and P&L financial analysis and preparing documentation for management approval.
Maintain live project tracking within Citi Transaction Management tool and working with the lease administration teams to ensure Portfolio data is up to date.
Liaise with the design and construction teams for any required building due diligence, coordination of the build out of space and coordination of the preparation of space for third party occupancy.
Supervise all estate management activities including resolution of landlord and tenant disputes and service charge reviews.
Contribute to regular business reviews, regional and global reporting requests.
Forecast and tracking commission spend, invoicing, savings initiatives and real estate project financial impacts.
Analyse real estate data to assess opportunities for improvements in cost and efficiency.
Qualitatively and quantitatively evaluating scenario alternatives and performing research required to support business cases.
Support the development of long term Citi plans and strategies as well as short-term tactical real estate strategies for Citibank.
What we’ll need from you
Preference for Bachelor’s degree, potentially Master’s degree, in relevant field.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English to a high level.
Several years of experience in global real estate industry and Transaction Management.
Excellent presentation, analytical, communication, and PC skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, advanced PowerPoint, basic-intermediate Excel)
Efficient and effective working under pressure and deadlines.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and with various functional experts.
Organization & communication ability. Demonstrate strategic planning and change management.
Writing, graphic and presentation skills.
