Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join a growing independent insurance agency. This role is responsible for managing personal lines accounts, supporting clients throughout the policy lifecycle, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and committed to providing responsive and professional client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of personal lines business, including quoting new and renewal policies.

• Provide responsive client service by addressing questions, processing requests, and resolving issues.

• Handle policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and other account servicing needs.

• Review coverage options and assist clients with understanding available insurance solutions.

• Maintain accurate account records and documentation within agency management software.

• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding policy servicing, underwriting requirements, and coverage needs.

• Collaborate with team members to support efficient and consistent account management.

• Build and maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

• Prior personal lines insurance experience preferred.

• Candidates with less experience may be considered based on relevant skills and demonstrated potential.

• Familiarity with Applied EPIC preferred but not required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Adaptable, team-oriented, and proactive in resolving client needs.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $40,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
