Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Investor Relations, the Deputy Director helps develop and deliver investor communications that clearly connect the company’s business strategy, financial performance, and long-term growth story. The role combines strategic thinking, strong writing, presentation development, and visual storytelling to translate complex information into clear, compelling materials for investors, analysts, senior leadership, and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of investor communications that reinforce the company’s long-term vision, business strategy, financial performance, and growth priorities.
  • Create clear, high-quality written and visual materials, including executive presentations, earnings-related content, investor meeting materials, talking points, briefing documents, and leadership summaries.
  • Partner with Investor Relations leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business and financial information into consistent, differentiated, and audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Conduct company, competitor, peer, industry, and market analysis to identify relevant themes, anticipate investor and analyst questions, and support executive preparation.
  • Collect, monitor, and synthesize investor perceptions, analyst perspectives, stock-price movements, ownership information, and relevant market developments for internal audiences.
  • Support relationships and communications with industry analysts and investors, including preparation for meetings and follow-up materials.
  • Monitor financial-services trends, capital-markets themes, and peer-company news and performance; prepare concise summaries and actionable insights for senior leaders.
  • Manage complex deliverables and workstreams across Finance, Corporate Communications, business teams, and other partners, maintaining strong quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Provide project leadership and informal guidance to analysts or partners as needed; this role does not require direct people management.
  • Support applicable third-party risk management activities for the department.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Seven or more years of relevant experience in investor relations, management consulting, investment banking, financial services, corporate strategy, corporate finance, or a related field.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong ability to structure a strategic narrative and translate complex business and financial information into clear, concise communications.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and visual storytelling skills, with experience developing materials for senior leaders or external audiences.
  • Experience in management consulting or investment banking; financial-services experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting investor-facing, executive, or other high-stakes communications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project-management, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, manage multiple priorities, and influence without formal authority.
  • Strong judgment, tact, diplomacy, and relationship-management skills.
  • Familiarity with public-company financial reporting, capital markets, and investor-relations practices is a plus.
