Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care
Location: North West England
Salary: Circa £40,000 DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead an established and well-performing domiciliary care service in the North West.
The service is already delivering 1,000+ hours of care per week, with a stable and experienced team in place. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong people-focused leader to step into an established operation, maintain high standards, support the existing team, and drive further growth.
The role would suit a hands-on Registered Manager who enjoys being site-based and actively involved in the day-to-day running of a busy domiciliary care service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy domiciliary care service
- Lead, support, and develop an established team of coordinators and care staff
- Ensure continued compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards
- Maintain and improve service delivery across 1,000+ weekly care hours
- Drive performance, staff engagement, retention, and development
- Monitor care quality, audits, safeguarding, and service user outcomes
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, and effective care delivery
- Build strong relationships with service users, families, commissioners, and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve service performance and support sustainable growth
- Provide visible, hands-on leadership across the service
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience managing high-volume care services
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a site-based environment
- Experience managing care hours, staffing, and operational performance
- Level 5 in Health & Social Care or working towards
