Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to supporting the expansion of a commercial lines division and maintaining a commitment to delivering exceptional service to a diverse client base. The successful candidate will manage a book of business ranging from small businesses to middle-market commercial accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

- Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually

Responsibilities
- Manage and service a commercial lines book of business valued at $750,000-$1.5M in revenue.
- Handle renewals (70%), new business (30%), endorsements, certificates, audits, and policy changes.
- Review policies for accuracy and ensure compliance with client needs.
- Coordinate with carriers and underwriters to secure optimal coverage solutions.
- Assist with remarketing and renewal strategies.
- Prepare applications, submissions, and proposals for clients.
- Address billing inquiries and maintain accurate account records.
- Support claims reporting and follow-up processes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying coverage gaps and opportunities for account rounding.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Active Texas Property & Casualty License required.
- CIC, CISR, CLCS, or similar designation preferred.
- Experience:
- 3-5+ years of commercial lines account management experience.
- Proficiency in handling endorsements, renewals, certificates of insurance, and policy servicing.
- Strong background in client relationship management and carrier communication.
- Experience with independent insurance agencies preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Applied Epic and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with carrier websites and portals.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization and time management abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
- High level of accountability and integrity.
