The Opportunity:
The Learning & Development Coordinator is a part-time, non-exempt position. This role is primarily remote; however, periodic in-office attendance is required.
The Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for co-creating, coordinating, and promoting learning and development opportunities that support employee growth, engagement, and organizational success. This role partners leaders and subject matter experts across the company to identify development needs, assist in curating learning solutions, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
The Learning & Development Coordinator coordinates and supports learning and development initiatives, including training resources, eLearning content, videos, and employee development programs. Working with tools such as Workday Learning and Articulate 360, the role helps maintain learning materials and administer programs such as Inspire Mentoring and Spark Sessions, ensuring employees have access to meaningful development opportunities.
Additionally, this position researches and recommends innovative learning solutions, evaluates program effectiveness, maintains training records and reporting, and ensures compliance with multi-state training and certification requirements to support audit readiness and organizational objectives.
Key Functions & Basic Duties:
- Develop and execute company-wide learning and development initiatives aligned with organizational goals and employee growth needs.
- Distribute and maintain monthly learning and development communications, including the company learning newsletter, to promote employee development opportunities and resources.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by increasing employee awareness, participation, and engagement in development opportunities.
- Coordinate and support company-wide learning initiatives, including Spark Sessions, lunch-and-learns, leadership development workshops, and knowledge-sharing events.
- Assist in coordinating and administering the Inspire Mentoring Program, including participant enrollment, matching, communications, progress tracking, and program evaluation.
- Partner with leaders, supervisors, and subject matter experts to identify organizational development needs and create learning opportunities that support business objectives.
- Conduct learning needs assessments and performance gap analyses to identify and recommend effective learning solutions based on adult learning principles.
- Assist in maintaining and updating custom learning content.
- Partner with the Learning & Development Manager on the design and development of training materials, demonstrating a willingness to learn content development best practices and instructional design techniques.
- Pilot learning programs and materials as appropriate and incorporate learner feedback to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness.
- Monitor federal, state, and industry-specific training requirements and ensure compliance training, certifications, recordkeeping, reporting, and audit requirements are met across applicable jurisdictions.
- Schedule and coordinate internal and external training programs, events, and development opportunities for employees.
- Support leaders and facilitators in the delivery of learning programs and training materials.
- Evaluate learning program effectiveness through participation data, assessments, learner feedback, and business outcomes, and recommend improvements as needed.
- Research, and recommend innovative learning technologies, tools, and development resources to enhance the employee learning experience.
- Actively cultivate practices that support the Company's culture, values, and vision while promoting employee growth and development.

Education and/ or Experience:

- Proficient in the following: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and additional industry-related software
