Description
Treasure Valley drivers: a dedicated grocery account with no touch freight, automatic trucks, and home every week.
Fresh CDL and looking for your first job? This one trains you.
Pay
- $1,300 to $1,500 average weekly gross
- $650 a week during training
- $10 for the first stop and $15 for each one after
- $20 extra on any load under 250 miles
- Up to $75,000 a year
Home time
Every load is a round trip, so you always come back. You are home weekly.
Freight and lanes
- Store deliveries for one retail customer
- Lanes across Idaho, Utah, Oregon border areas, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and California
- Dry and refrigerated trailers, automatic trucks
- About 2,500 to 3,000 miles a week
- 24/7 operation: nights, weekends and holidays are worked
Straight answers
- “Do I touch the freight?” No.
- “Is the pace easy?” No. This account is busy and fast, which is why the miles and pay are steady.
- “Does my CDL school count?” If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
From application to your own truck
A recruiter calls and reviews your license and record first. Orientation runs 2 days at most, hotel covered, bus ticket paid back, and $300 once you are hired. You train 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor, then get your own assigned truck.
Who can apply
- Class A CDL, 21 or older
- 120 hour CDL school certificate, or 6 months of recent experience
- No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no DUI/DWI in 10
- DOT physical and hair and urine drug test
After 30 days: health, dental and vision, 401(k) and stock purchase plan, paid vacation, and an online college degree at no cost for you and a family member.
Nampa, Boise, Caldwell, Meridian and Kuna drivers, apply now.
We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome all qualified drivers.
