Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a driven, customer-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role involves serving as the primary liaison between clients and the organization, ensuring seamless account management and providing exceptional insurance solutions tailored to the personal needs of clients. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for building relationships, problem-solving, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, delivering exemplary customer service.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for personal lines accounts, providing tailored advice on insurance policies, coverage options, and renewals.
• Identify client needs, assess risk exposure, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Work effectively with underwriters and carriers, negotiating terms, rates, and coverage enhancements on behalf of clients.
• Handle policy changes, cancellations, endorsements, billing inquiries, and claims processing in a timely and professional manner.
• Track and manage renewals, ensuring a proactive approach to retaining clients.
• Maintain accurate and organized client records in the agency’s management system.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulations to offer the most current advice to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to address client challenges and effectively meet goal objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven work experience in a Personal Lines Account Manager, Customer Service, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and practices.
• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with an ability to simplify complex insurance products for clients.
• Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Technologically adept: Familiarity with agency management software and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a client-centered mindset.
