Operations & Projects Coordinator
At our strategic distribution hub in La Louvière, you will help ensure the seamless delivery of life-changing healthcare products to patients around the world.
As one of the largest distribution centers within the Johnson & Johnson network, La Louvière serves as a critical link between manufacturing sites across the globe and hospitals, healthcare professionals, and regional distribution centers throughout Europe and beyond.
As Operations & Projects Coordinator, you will play a highly visible role at the center of these operations. You will act as a key connector between our operational partner, internal business functions, maintenance teams, contractors, and external stakeholders, ensuring that critical issues are addressed, priorities remain aligned, and operations continue to run efficiently.

What You Will Do
Lead Operational Coordination & Issue Resolution
- Champion a culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship, ensuring all operational targets and regulatory requirements are achieved
- Serve as a primary operational liaison between Johnson & Johnson and our logistics operations partner.
- Support the day-to-day coordination of distribution activities and operational priorities.
- Identify, assess, and help resolve operational challenges across the site.
- Drive cross-functional discussions to ensure rapid issue resolution and business continuity.
- Coordinate with teams across operations, quality, IT, engineering, facilities, and supply chain functions to remove barriers and maintain performance.
- Help prioritize activities and balance competing operational needs in a fast-paced environment.
Be the Bridge Between Teams
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Influence outcomes and drive alignment without direct reporting authority.
- Facilitate communication between operational teams, contractors, service providers, and Johnson & Johnson leadership.
- Act as a trusted point of contact when operational challenges arise requiring coordination across several departments.
Coordinate Site Infrastructure & Facilities Activities
- Serve as a central point of contact for equipment, facilities, utilities, maintenance, and infrastructure-related stakeholders.
- Support maintaining an oversight of maintenance activities and coordinate planning efforts with internal and external partners.
- Support contractor management activities, including work approvals and operational coordination.
- Ensure infrastructure-related issues are identified, prioritized, and escalated appropriately.
- Partner closely with engineering, maintenance, and facilities teams to ensure effective execution of planned activities.
Drive Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Support operational excellence initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Develop and maintain reporting and performance monitoring tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and operational reliability.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Contribute to the development of processes, procedures, and operational best practices.
What We're Looking For
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific, technical, engineering, supply chain, or related discipline.
Experience
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of professional experience in:
- Distribution, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, and/or
- Pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
- Experience in either distribution operations or pharmaceutical operations is valuable.
- Experience in both areas would be considered a strong advantage.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong operational mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Understanding of operational and distribution processes.
- Basic knowledge of equipment, facilities, utilities, and maintenance principles.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple functions and priorities.
- Experience working with external vendors, contractors, or service providers is a plus.
- Project coordination or continuous improvement experience is advantageous.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€72.500,00 - €115.230,00
