Role summary:The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, HVAC, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and related equipment to ensure optimal facility operations. This role involves interpreting technical documentation, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and control issues, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The technician collaborates with management and facility teams to support operational efficiency, manages work assignments using digital tools, and participates in on-call rotations. Accurate documentation and effective communication are essential to maintain system reliability and support continuous improvement within facility services.

What you'll do:
- Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC systems, ductwork, controls, and building automation components.
- Interpret technical documentation and schematics to ensure accurate and code-compliant installations.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues affecting HVAC equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Operate company vehicles safely to complete service calls across multiple locations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders using digital tools.
- Collaborate with management and facility operators to support operational needs and continuous improvement.
- Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies at all times.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience installing, configuring, and maintaining HVAC systems, including ductwork and control components.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics, layout plans, and documentation to ensure accurate and code-compliant installations.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system issues affecting HVAC equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and company safety protocols to ensure safe work environments.
- Competence in using digital tools for work order management, scheduling, and documentation.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with facility operators and team members.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
Vocational or technical HVAC certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC and building controls.Option 1: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, plumbing, material handling- equipment, or related trades.
Option 2: 2 years’ store experience.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for the handling and servicing of refrigerants.• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
