Administrative Assistant, Home Primary Care (Temporary 6-Month Assignment)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Reporting to the Practice Manager of Home Primary Care, the Administrative Associate performs a broad range of administrative duties to support the efficient day-to-day operations of the Physician Services Department and the Care Dimensions Home Primary Care Program. This role provides a high level of customer service to patients, providers, referral sources, and vendors while ensuring smooth administrative operations. Responsibilities are assigned at the discretion of the Practice Manager, who oversees the administrative functions of the practice.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a medical facility, medical office setting, or administrative assistant role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Scheduling experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, including proficiency in managing communications by email, telephone, and in person.
- Professional, courteous, and customer-focused telephone manner.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and the ability to learn and navigate multiple electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and recognize when assistance is needed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information, including the use of encrypted email when appropriate.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communication styles.

Precise pay rates are determined through consideration of one or more of the following: education, training, relevant experience and work location. There are some cases in which the pay rate could exceed the range listed on this job post.
