Accounts Executive | Finance & Hospitality

A leading hospitality organisation is seeking an Accounts Executive to join its finance team in Malta. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to gain exposure to a multi-entity environment while developing their accounting and reconciliation expertise within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash records
• Manage intercompany transactions, balances, and reconciliations
• Prepare and issue invoices for management fees, service fees, recharges, royalties, licensing fees, and other charges
• Monitor accounts receivable and support aging analysis and follow-up reporting
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit requirements
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency within the finance function
• Support the wider finance team with additional accounting duties as required

Ideal Background

• Experience in a finance or accounting role
• A' Level in Accounts or currently in the early stages of ACCA
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork
