Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for employees
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
• Provide technical support for various applications and systems
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems
• Assist with network administration tasks, such as user account management and security updates
• Document and maintain IT procedures and processes
• Work on special projects as assigned by the IT team
• Keep up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of computer systems and networks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic software applications
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Previous IT experience or certifications is a plus

Contract Details:

This is a full-time, 3-month contract with the potential for extension. The IT intern will work from our office in Durban, South Africa.
