Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Commercial Insurance Account Manager to manage and coordinate commercial insurance accounts while fostering strong client relationships. This position focuses on delivering superior service and tailored insurance solutions to meet the needs of clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for assigned commercial insurance accounts, ensuring consistent client satisfaction.
- Assess client business needs, present policy options, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Handle daily account operations, including policy changes, renewals, and claims management.
- Identify potential risks for clients and provide strategic recommendations for coverage.
- Partner with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and resolve underwriting concerns.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all client interactions in the CRM system.
- Review insurance policies to ensure coverage aligns with client requirements and expectations.
- Build and strengthen relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, and compliance standards to optimize offerings for clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, ideally in the commercial insurance sector.
- Thorough understanding of commercial insurance practices, policies, and coverage options.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- High level of organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Acumen for analyzing client needs and crafting tailored insurance solutions.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a focus on accuracy and client satisfaction.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Passionate about continuous skill development and industry knowledge.
