Job Title: Ofsted Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home 🏡
Location: Leeds 📍
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per year (dependent on experience) plus performance bonuses 💷
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Full-time, 40-hour contract with a flexible working pattern
Service: Children's residential care – solo placement and multi-bed residential homes
Service Users: Children and young people with complex EBD needs
Qualifications Required:
- Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care
- Eligibility for Ofsted Registered Manager registration
- Driving licence
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years' experience in residential childcare management or a senior supervisory role
The Home:
Our client operates both solo placement and multi-bed residential homes, supporting children and young people with complex needs in safe, nurturing environments.
Who we are looking for:
Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record of delivering quality outcomes for children with complex needs. You will have strong knowledge of Ofsted regulatory standards, the Children's Homes Regulations and safeguarding.
In this role you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment
- Drive Ofsted regulatory compliance and maintain outstanding inspection standards
- Lead safeguarding and individual care planning for young people with complex needs
- Manage solo placement and multi-bed settings, adapting to each young person's needs
- Recruit, build and mentor a high-performing support team
- Contribute to organisational strategy and quality improvement as the business grows
