Job Title: Registered Manager
Location: Walsall (WS1), West Midlands
Salary: £51,500 – £60,000 per annum (depending on skills, qualifications and experience), plus a £7,500 welcome bonus 💷
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week

Service Users: Young people aged 8–17 years with EBD
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce, and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willing to undertake this as part of the role). Full UK driving licence.
Experience Required: Extensive experience in children's residential care management. Experience in an LD/EBD home is desirable.

Our client is looking for a Registered Manager to run a warm, friendly 4-bed home for young people aged 8–17 with EBD. It should be a safe and supportive environment where they achieve positive outcomes that are authentic to them. You will:
- ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care
- lead and inspire a motivated team
- manage budgets, resources and the home environment
- safeguard young people, liaising with professionals to achieve positive outcomes
- drive continuous improvement and make sure the home's Statement of Purpose is fulfilled
You will bring a strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures. You will also need excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills, and a real commitment to a nurturing, empowering environment.
