Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to the organization, providing exceptional service to clients while managing a diverse portfolio of accounts. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000+ (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, including property/habitational and middle-market accounts, as well as generalist accounts with some contractor clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Quote new and renewal business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and account management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Epic software system.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Prior experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager in an independent agency is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is preferred.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to grammar and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks without constant supervision.
- Non-confrontational and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
