Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and providing customized insurance solutions.
- Manage policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations with accuracy and adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, secure quotes, and address underwriting requirements.
- Educate clients on policy coverages and risk management strategies to support informed decision-making.
- Address and resolve client inquiries, concerns, and claims with a focus on delivering a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with company processes and regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional coverage or expanding lines of business.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to offer proactive client guidance.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to contribute to continuous process improvement and achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines in the insurance industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using insurance agency management systems and other relevant software tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
