Job Summary:
Our Engineering and Maintenance department does it all! From troubleshooting to preserving our rich history and being stewards of our iconic lodges, hands-on skills are needed to get the job done right. The Maintenance Asset Assistant will audit existing equipment assets and examine the accuracy of facility floor-plans throughout the park.
The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: December 2026 - March 2027Pay: $20.75/hourSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- Auditing existing equipment assets and examining the accuracy of facility floorplans throughout the park.
- Data collection and precise documentation of pertinent information for asset discovery, asset tracking, asset identification, and application of asset tags on new and existing assets throughout the Park.
- Field work is required to perform routine asset audits, data analyzation, collection, manufacturer documentation, and application of asset tags on new and existing assets. Overnight travel may be necessary to efficiently audit interior locations.
- Uploading, merging, editing and cataloging equipment asset documents and photographs to the Engineering Network.
- Work closely with the Asset Specialist, maintenance management, and location staff to track, identify and document the addition, removal, and transfer of assets.
Qualifications
- Comprehension of written and verbal instructions and follow documented procedures for asset management.
- Capability to work independently with limited supervision, highly motivated self-starter.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and photo editing software programs.
- Ability to create and edit spreadsheets and accurately capture asset data.
- Ability to recognize inconsistencies or gaps in asset records requiring correction or further investigation.
- Familiarity of commercial equipment, such as kitchen equipment, HVAC and boilers a plus.Good sense of direction, orientation; awareness of position relative to surroundings and strong visual recall.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with Maximo or at least one Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program helpful, but not a requirement of employment.
Physical Requirements include:
- Be capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Possess the physical stamina and conditioning required to climb, crawl, crouch, squat in building spaces which may be hot, frigid, dark, noisy, dusty, constricted, underground or at a significant height from the ground. Must be able to walk long distances over uneven terrain and safely climb stairs/ladders in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, squat and kneel for long periods of time as required.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a current, valid, driver’s license with a good driving record for the past 3 years.
