What you'll do...
The Senior Manager, Quality Engineering, leads the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies to ensure product quality and reliability. This role oversees defect management, automation initiatives, and root cause analysis while guiding teams in test design, execution, and continuous improvement. Collaborating cross-functionally, the position aligns quality objectives with business goals, drives program health through metrics and reporting, and fosters innovation in testing methodologies. The role demands strong leadership in mentoring, process optimization, and adherence to industry standards to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and support organizational success.

Walmart International TestOps supports a $26B eCommerce business across 10 countries, ensuring quality throughout the entire customer journey—from search to post-purchase—across multiple platforms and markets. The team prioritizes protecting the customer experience while accelerating delivery by developing AI Native automation solution, CI/CD quality gates, and test data services. They enable numerous feature teams to ship efficiently with reliable evidence, addressing test flakiness as an engineering challenge and identifying quality issues early to influence design. This approach drives continuous improvement and supports rapid, high-quality releases globally.
What you'll do:
- Lead the AI-frsit design and execution of complex test strategies, including functional, nonfunctional, regression, and automation testing - across multiple banners in International Markets.
- Oversee defect management processes, ensuring timely tracking, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and traceability matrices.
- Monitor program metrics and deployment schedules to maintain quality standards and continuous integration practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing testing processes and recommending enhancements aligned with business objectives.
- Mentor team members on technical skills, testing methodologies, and industry best practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
