Key Responsibilities
- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial lines insurance accounts, ensuring clients receive timely and professional support.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding coverage questions, policy changes, renewals, and general service needs.
- Review existing policies and identify coverage gaps, potential exposures, and opportunities for additional protection.
- Coordinate the renewal process, including gathering updated information, reviewing coverage options, and communicating with carriers.
- Work closely with producers, underwriters, and insurance carriers to ensure client needs are met.
- Process policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other account servicing requests.
- Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation within the agency management system.
- Assist with new business submissions, policy proposals, and account transitions as needed.
- Build strong client relationships to support retention and overall customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on commercial insurance products, carrier guidelines, and industry developments.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience, preferably within an insurance agency or brokerage.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policy servicing, and renewal processes.
- Experience managing commercial accounts and communicating directly with clients and carriers.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable handling client inquiries over the phone and providing proactive account support.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with agency management systems; AMS360 and WorkSmart experience are a plus.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Motivated professional with a willingness to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities.
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000–$105,000+ annual based salary, depending on experience.
