Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Commercial Lines Team Lead to join a dynamic team. The Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the commercial lines department and leading a team of professionals to achieve departmental goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of commercial lines professionals to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the commercial lines department.
- Collaborate with other team leads and senior management to align departmental goals with organizational objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, including training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Oversee the underwriting and pricing of commercial insurance policies to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes diversity and equality.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the insurance industry, preferably in commercial lines.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results through effective team management and strategic planning.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
