Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and professional Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Completing applications for new and renewal business upon receipt of instructions.
• Preparing proposals, binders, certificates, endorsements, and account summaries.
• Submitting applications to eligible carriers and following up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
• Performing necessary ratings for policy quotations and issuance using carrier websites or rating programs.
• Issuing premium-bearing binders, invoices, and resolving carrier accounting discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files, expiration control logs, and follow-up records.
• Processing renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other client requests in a timely manner.
• Ensuring compliance with agency standards to avoid errors and omissions.
• Responding to client and carrier inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Participating in training and seminars to maintain required licenses and enhance skills.
• Collaborating with producers and account executives to ensure client needs are met.

Qualifications/Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Commercial Lines Account Management (preferred 2-4 years).
• Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with Applied Epic is preferred.
• Account Size: Experience managing accounts ranging from $10,000 to $100,000.

• Other Requirements:
  • No travel required for this role.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid environment.
