Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to managing a $1.5M commercial book of business, working with a variety of carriers and industries. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial lines insurance, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to valued clients.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and Retirement Plan
- Raises: Annual performance-based increases
Responsibilities
- Manage a $1.5M commercial book of business, including contractors, BOPs, restaurants, workers' compensation, and professional liability accounts
- Work with carriers such as Travelers, Frankenmuth, Accident Fund, Great American, CHUBB, and Michigan Millers
- Quote new and renewal business
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (5-6 years preferred)
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Applied Systems software is required
