Position Summary...

Join Walmart as a Senior Manager, Finance –Procurement, where you will serve as a strategic finance partner to leaders across Walmart. In this role, you will provide financial insights that shape procurement strategies, improve cost efficiency, manage risk, and support long-term value creation. The role also oversees budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, and performance reporting while partnering across Finance, Procurement, and the business to execute strategic initiatives and continuously improve financial processes. Partnering with senior management, this position drives business strategy execution, evaluates operational outcomes, and fosters continuous improvement to ensure sustainable financial performance and organizational success. 

About the team: The Sourcing & Procurement Finance team collaborates with leaders across the enterprise to develop global procurement strategies and deliver sustainable value. Positioned at the intersection of Finance and Procurement, the team provides analysis, governance, and strategic insights to enhance spend efficiency, evaluate sourcing initiatives, manage financial risk, and support informed decision-making. Their work influences decisions impacting Walmart’s operations, suppliers, and millions of customers worldwide, ensuring effective financial planning, risk mitigation, and communication to drive business success.

What you'll do...

• Prepare financial analyses and models to support planning and recommend future expense targets.
• Manage control structures to mitigate financial risks and ensure proper controls across functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting transparency and financial system accuracy.
• Communicate financial results, assumptions, and variances to senior management and support business case presentations.
• Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop associates, establishing performance expectations and fostering a team-based environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and standards while promoting continuous improvement and accountability.
